1. NAMIBIA

Best time for shore fishing is generally November - March.

November - May for the Sharks (Bronze Whalers)

February - April for edible fish

2. KWAZULU-NATAL, South Africa

Anytime for Sharks

Best time: June - September with July as the peak coinciding with annual Sardine Run. Fish of all descriptions follow the Sardines.

The Shad (Bluefish) season runs from 1 December - 30 September. A maximum of 4 Shad with a minimum length of 30cm are allowed per angler per day.
